In the Spring of 2004 I had reached a point in Tricked where I was burning out and wanted to take a break. It was the first time I'd done an original graphic novel (as opposed to a serialized book) and I felt as if I had not only been working on it my entire life but that I would be working on until I croaked. So, fun was called for. The whole alternative-comix-doing-superheroes-thing had been around a year or two so I figured that would be a good bandwagon to jump on.
